In December, the final resolutions for grants for screenplays and audiovisual productions from the Government of the Canary Islands were published.
Regarding the screenplay call, a total of 14 projects received support from the Government through grants for audiovisual scriptwriting, selected from 182 proposals.
This call, corresponding to 2025, is aimed at promoting the initial development phase of audiovisual projects through a total funding allocation of €125,600.
- The selected projects include fiction feature films and documentaries.
On the other hand, funding was granted to 36 projects in the stages of production or minority co-production, as well as development and short film production. The total investment amounts to €3,329,000.

- Production: 9 projects, including fiction films, animation, and documentaries.
- Development: 12 projects.
- Short Film Production: 9 projects.
- Minority Co-production: 6 projects.
