For the second time, Europe’s largest ocean film festival will embark on another great journey. For 14 years, the International OCEAN FILM TOUR has been bringing hand-picked films and documentaries from the seven seas to the big screen.
This festival, produced by the renowned german producer Moving Adventures GmbH, is born in the Canary Islands by the local producer Kinema Producciones with a very clear target: to promote, in an alternative and direct way throughout the spanish territory in the canaries, the protection, defense and conservation of our oceans. Every year, the festival offers inspiration to oceanlovers with its unique stories, exciting protagonists, and spectacular scenery from the wildest corners of our planet.
The world “premiere” did take place on 03 March 2020 in Munich – Germany with over 1400 spectators. The festival will then go on tour, featuring more than 240 events in 17 countries, or in similar words, will reach more/less over 300.000 spectators.
