Canary Islands Film and the Agencia del Cine y el Audiovisual del Uruguay (ACAU) recently held an online coproduction meeting, bringing together production companies from both territories to explore opportunities for collaboration on audiovisual projects.
The session gathered Canarian production companies that had previous experience in international coproductions, projects currently in development with potential for coproduction, and a clear interest in working with Uruguay. The meeting, which lasted approximately an hour and a half, provided a platform to connect with one of Latin America’s emerging film industries.
This initiative is part of the Canary Islands’ broader strategy to boost the international reach of its audiovisual sector, fostering collaboration and creating new opportunities for professionals from both regions.
