Mara returns to Tenerife after breaking up with her boyfriend in Madrid. She spends the whole day with her sister Emma and they attend the Carnival together. But there she remembers that was the place where she met her ex. In a fiction with documentary elements, non-professional actors and a real Carnival (the first after the quarantine), the director makes a portrait of those people who stay also during the hard times.

DIRECTOR’S BIOFILMOGRAPHY

Antonio Munáiz (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1997) is a director, gaffer and director of photography graduated from ECAM. He has also studied philosophy at UNED. He has directed the short films “Letter from Senegal”, “Memories of a Breakfast” and “Tiempo de Carnavales”. As director of photography he has participated in the video installation “Chrysalis ”, by Patricia Medina for the Amadis room. As a gaffer he has worked on films such as “A Posthumous Film” by Sigfrid Monléon, “Emotional Architecture” by Siminiani, “Glorious Revolution” by Masha Kondakova or “Wetsuit” by Joao Salgado.
